The Nigerian National football team,
Super Eagles, have climbed from the
70th to 67th position in the latest
monthly ranking released by FIFA on
Thursday.
The gain did not however place
Nigeria in the African continental top
10 list.
Nigeria places 16th in Africa with 513
points, behind Guinea, Uganda, South
Africa and Congo.
Algeria, Ghana and Ivory Coast still
maintain their top three positions on
the continent.
Globally, Argentina still ranks
number one with 1585 points,
followed by Belgium with 1401
points.
Colombia clinched 1331 points to sit
on third place. Germany, Chile
Portugal, France, Spain, Brazil and
Italy are in the top 10.
